Horakuji Temple was built by Ashikaga Yoshiuji in 1249. The temple houses the particularly large "Gorinto" 5 ring tower of Ashikaga Yoshiuji. Hourakuji is extremely beautiful, with a wonderful appearance one never tires of no matter how many times they see it.
