he Ashikaga Museum of Art was opened in April 1994, and is a relatively new museum. The museum is located immediately on the left when entering the intersection of the road with 2 chome from the south. The museum is aimed at progressing towards building a community where people have an opportunity to come into contact with the fine arts during daily life and which cultivates a rich sensitivity that encourages people to think and feel.
