The Shimotsuke Nunnery Ruins are maintained in one corner of Tenpyo no Oka Park and the prefectural Shimotsuke Fudoki-no-oka Museum and buried cultural asset center, making it the perfect place to study the ancient history of Shimotsuke.There are approximately 700 cherry blossoms and azaleas planted around the park making the park popular with flower viewing visitors in the spring and contributing to the park being one of the top tourist spots in Shimotsuke City.
