Tokuzoji Temple is lovingly known as the ping-pong temple. Nearly 200 people, from elementary school students to adults, battle in competitive games of ping-pong on the ping-pong tables set up in the temple's grounds under the clear, open sky. This is an event for deepening familial bonds by having the families eat together after working up a sweat playing ping-pong.
