Experience the history of familiar tobiyama
The Tobiyama Historical Experience Center is a facility which allows visitors to experience firsthand both the history of Tobiyama Castle and the lives of people long ago. In addition to introducing the history of the Haga and Utsunomiya clans, the center also allows visitors to learn about life at Tobiyama Castle during its time from relics unearthed during excavations and models. At the experience corner, visitors can try on “kosode” kimonos and armor, and experience shogi and surugoku and other middle ages games. Visitors can also try their hand at making “magadama” comma shaped beads and earthenware.
