The Kurobane Town Basho no Yakata collects and preserves materials related to town history, literature and culture. Publicly releasing these materials is aimed at helping increase town awareness and cultural stimulation. The Basho no Sato Kurobane Plaza where the Basho no Yakata is located is an expansive site of approximately 5000 square meters. Come visit and enjoy a stroll on the greenery surrounded walking path for an experience like that portrayed in the “Narrow Road to the Deep North”, and experience the brilliance of the Genroku era and the condition of “sabi”, simple elegance.
