The Rekishi Tanbo Kan is an information center which exhibits materials related to the history of Nasu Town. The building is famous for being designed by Kuma Kengo, one of Japan’s leading architects. Nasu Town was a route for cultural diffusion since long ago and has a large number of ruins and remains. The center is made up of a gate house, warehouse and exhibition hall, each building reflecting the style of their respective period. The town’s history is presented in a theme of a historical “path” or “road”. Come and experience the climate and lifestyle of Nasu, shaped by nature through the 4 seasons.
