Kamimiyori Suiseishokubutsuen (Kamimiyouri Aquatic Plant Park) is located in a corner of Nikko National Park. The park is divided into 8 zones including ponds, gardens and Japanese gardens where aquatic plants, hygrophytes and alpine plants are cultivated. In the 22,000 square meter area of the wetland zone in particular, there are over 300 types (30,000 plants) of aquatic and plateau vegetation cultivated, with a wide variety of flowers blooming each season. In addition, the park also hosts a variety of rare plants designated as endangered species making it interesting even for those who are already extremely knowledgeable about plants.
