Kawamata Onsen Kanketsusen is located at the entrance to the Sanou Rindo forest path which runs from Kawamata Onsen hot spring to Nikko, and is located directly below the Funsenkyo bridge. The high temperature hot spring spouts 20-30 meters into the air approximately every 50 minutes. The best part is listening to the reverberation of the roaring sound from the ground while watching the powerful spray, the serenity of the surroundings broken in a single moment as you wonder at the power of nature on display. On cold days, the huge, white steam cloud adds even more to the impact of the sight.
