The Nasu War Museum is the only war museum in Japan. The museum has a variety of real, preserved exhibits beginning with the tanks and airplane engines outside the entrance in addition to everything from firearms and uniforms to war-horses.Inside the museum a large number of war history related materials are on exhibit including various weapons used both inside and outside Japan in wars from the Meiji to Showa eras as well as Yoshida Shoin’s “iboku” drawings and the writings of Emperor Showa.Come and learn by viewing records from the times of the wars.
