Roadside Station Meiji no Mori/Kuroiso was opened as a roadside station when improvements were made to the Aoki Nasu Bettei second home on a 7.5 hectare lot. Roadside Station Meiji no Mori/Kuroiso also carries out direct sales of the rich dairy and vegetable products produced in Nasu Shiobara as well as allowing visitors to learn about the history of the Meiji era pioneers from the Nasu Bettei second home of the Aoki Shuzo, one of the Nasunogahara pioneers.
