Higashi Arakawa River Dam Water Park is located around the dam lake. Shojinsawayusui Spring, selected as one of the 100 best springs in Japan by the Ministry of the Environment is located close by and large numbers of visitors come from inside and outside Tochigi Prefecture for the famous pure water. There is a promenade to Shojinsawayusui and walking through the primeval forest is a great way to relax. Near the dam lake the Shojinsawa Heartland souvenir gift shop welcomes customers.
