The Ohtawara City History and Folk Museum is located near the Kami-samuraizuka and Shimo-samuraizuka kofun burial mounds, which are a nationally designated historical site.In addition to the treasure trove of cultural properties and daily implements once used by people long ago, the museum holds displays that include valuable ancient texts recording how our ancestors lived.
