Kasoyama Jinja Shrine is in the area near the last stop on the Ozaku/Kamihinata Line. Kasoyama Jinja Shrine is a shrine dedicated to prayers for good harvests and to the god of agriculture. Climbing the side path in the main hall of the shrine one will find 2 large katsura trees standing as if trying to get closer to one another. These are called the "Senbon Katsura" and are designated as a Tochigi Prefectural Natural Treasure. The Senbon Katsura have long been considered sacred trees for relationships.
