The clear water from Oashigawa River flows through Oashi Canyon making it a wonderful natural scenic spot. There are nearly 20 different waterfalls, both large and small, and the view from the Otaki large waterfall is, especially during the autumnal changing of the leaves, breathtaking. There are also scattered spots for playing in the river, camping and fishing, making the site great for all kinds of leisure. Going deeper into the mountains by car one will come across a large torii gate and can proceed on to Furumine Jinja Shrine.
