Gyoushintei restaurant is located approximately 300m east of Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Gyoushintei stands inside the Nikko Fudoen and is the only shojin vegetarian cuisine specialized restaurant in Nikko, named after the Gyoshinbo training facility in the Nikko Mountains. The pure Japanese style of the restaurant's interior reminds one of a tea ceremony room and visitors can enjoy a variety of non-fatty Japanese foods including dishes that use Nikko's famous yuba soy milk skin.
