Sano City Kodomo no Kuni (Children's Land) is located approximately 1.5km north of Sano Station, heading north towards Horigomemachi intersection. Sano City Kodomo no Kuni (Children's Land) is a children's park opened in Sano City based on the themes of children's "adventures, discoveries and creations", and features a rocket observation platform on the hills, an Anpan Man slide, a dinosaur slide and other attractions, and allows children to play not just outdoors, but the Children's Center in the park also provides a variety of indoor activities for rainy days including a gym with game equipment, model trains and train simulators and a tilted room that lets children test their sense of balance. One can also often see worried parents come to find children who have completely forget about time while playing.
