This shrine is said to have been established by a priest, Jikaku Daishi (Ennin) in the early Heian Period. A total of 42 gods and goddesses such as Ninigi no Mikoto are enshrined here.

Access 15 minutes ride on the Kanto Bus from Tochigi Station (JR, Tobu) to Kokugakuin (Ohira) and get off at the last stop. From the front approach (hydrangea hill), 30 minutes walk uphill.
