Hananoe no Sato is a botanical garden which is home to approximately 800 types of wild grasses. The inside of the garden is divided into 4 areas, mountain, sato, forest and swamp, and is big enough that it takes 60 minutes to walk through all of the areas. The garden also holds a number of events to encourage enjoyment of nature, such as a photo contest open to anyone who takes a photo within the garden and an ocarina concert.
